Professional rotary engravers for durable, deep engraving on plastics and metals. Jorlink carries Roland and Vision models with expert setup, training, parts, and technical support.
Unlike lasers, rotary engravers use a high-speed cutting tool to physically remove material. The result is a deep, permanent mark that’s ideal for industrial tags, control panels, valve plates, ADA signage (with proper materials), asset labels, awards, and personalization. Rotary excels on engraving plastics (acrylic, ABS, phenolic), metals (aluminum, brass, stainless—using appropriate tooling & fixturing), wood, and more.

What’s the difference between rotary and laser engraving?
Rotary uses a spinning cutter to remove material and create a deep, tactile mark. Laser ablates with light and is excellent for fine detail and high throughput on many substrates. Choose rotary when you need depth, durability, or mechanical finishes.
Can rotary engrave metals?
Yes. Aluminum and brass engrave very well. Stainless and harder alloys are possible with the correct cutters, lubrication, and feeds/speeds. Ask Jorlink for application-specific guidance.
Which models are best for ADA signage?
Vision 1624 Pro and Phoenix 1212 are popular for ADA signage workflows (when paired with compliant materials and processes).
What software do these systems use?
Both Roland and Vision systems support user-friendly design/production software. Jorlink will help align your workflow—from design import to toolpathing and production—based on your team and applications. -Our Knowledge Base-
